Yusif Vazir Chamanzeminli

He is one of the prominent representatives of the Azerbaijani national prose. Historical themes prevailed in his creation. Romantic style has taken a leading position in the works. He was subjected to repression, 1943, and died in Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia on January 3, at the prison camp in Sukhobezvodnaya station. In 1956 he was rehabilitated.
