RiversAzerbaijani river network consists of more than 8350 rivers, of which 2 river’s length is over 500 km, 22 rivers – between 101-500 km, 324 rivers – between 11-100 km, and length of most of the rivers is less than 10 km.
The rivers of he Republic of Azerbaijan belongs to the Caspian basin as a whole. In separate they are related to three basins:
1. Kura River and rivers of its basin (the left and right tributaries of the Kura River)
3. Rivers directly flowing to the Caspian Sea.
