\"For distinction in the border services\" medal

It was approved by Law of Azerbaijan Republic No 429-IQD dated Feb 6, 1998. 

The medal of “For merits in border services” consists of round board of 35 mm of diameter with narrow board of national ornament. 

The sword was described in the center of the medal in the background of castle. 

In top of castle walls and sword along the circle the words “For merits in the border services” . Words and description are salient. 

It back side is smooth, and the number of medal is carved in the middle. 

The medal is attached on dress with element of right angled ribbon of size of  27 mm x 43 mm, with ring and loop.  

The mould is added of size 27 mm x 9 mm of same ribbon with crescent and star images on it, with element for fixation on dress.
