The most valuable written records - Avesta, Pahlavi texts, the writings of Greek philosophers and historians of medieval written records, archaeological excavations in the country, research the history of language and oral literature and etc. create opportunities for studying the phases of the development of philosophical thought and culture in Azerbaijan. The evolution of philosophical outlook was associated with manifestations of the human relationship to nature as fetishism, totems, totemism, spirit, deity, etc. These ideas and teachings are reflected in the various cults and magic rituals to protect themselves from the human environment.
