Azerbaijani chess player. Teymur Radjabov in 2001 (at 14 years old) renewed the world record for being the youngest grand master. In 2003, Teymur, who defeated Garry Kasparov in Linares with black figures, was awarded the best game award in Linares. For these results Rajabov is considered as the first young chess player, who defeated world’s number one in history of chess. The same year, Teymur defeated Veselin Topalov, Vishvanatan Anandı and Ruslan Ponomaryov (Bilbao, 2008) with black figures and became the only chess player that defeated FIDE World champion thrice in a year.
