Gasim bey Zakir (1784-1857) - poet.

In realistic creativity of Zakir, stories and fables occupy an important role.  He has prose written on various topics like Tarlan and messenger, The man lost a camel, Dervish and the girl, Brazen-faced dervish, Immoral qazi.
Fables occupy exceptional importance in the realistic creation of Zakir. Lion, wolf and the jackal, Camel and donkey, Fox and wolf, On comrade traitors (Snake, Camel, Turtle), Fox and the Lion, On faithful friends (Turtle, Crow, Rodent, Antelope) six fables were published.
