Azerbaijan Airlines (AzAL), is in the structure of “Azerbaijan Airlines Closed Joint-Stock Company, and the largest airline and national flag-carrier. It is member of International Air Transport Association (IATA). Headquarters is located in the city of Baku.

Company, which ahs as the main airport of Heydar Aliyev International Airport, is located 20 kilometers north-east of Baku. Azerbaijan Airlines carry out transportation of passengers in Europe, the CIS, the Middle East and Asia countries. Since 2014 after purchasing long-distance Boeing airplanes it is planned to open flight to North America and South-East Asian countries as permanent routes.
