State Land and Cartography Committee

  

State Land Committee was established by Decree No. 54 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 17, 1992. In 2001, the State Land Committee and the State Committee of Geodesy and Cartography were abolished and the State Land and Cartography Committee has been established on its base by the Presidential Decree 460, dated April 18, 2001.
The committee is central executive body exercising the state control on geodesy and cartography activities. The body also operates in the field of the state land cadastre, land monitoring, geodesy, topography, cartography, gravimetry, land reform, the organization of the rational utilization of land resources, soil fertility restoration and its  increase, the regulation of land-citizen relations, definition of territorial units.
