Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble 
Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble named after F.Amirov was established by Uzeyir Hajibeyov, the founder of the Azerbaijan classical music in 1938. In different times, prominent composers such as Said Rustamov, Jahangir Jahangirov, Vasif Adigozelov, Haji Xanmemmedov, Telman Hajiyev, and Ramiz Mirishli also guided the collective together with Uzeyir Hajibeyov. The choreography group of the ensemble prepared prominent dance masters such as Emine Dilbazi, Tutu Hamidova, Boyukaga Memmedov, Roza Jelilova, Aliye Ramazanova, Afag Melikova, Kamil Dadashov, Alikram Aslanov, Nadir Memmedov and others. The repertoire of the ensemble consists of dance songs and choral works of the Azerbaijan and world people. Azerbaijan State Folk Musical Instruments operate under the Ensemble since the January of 2000. The Ensemble was awarded the honorary title of the “Honored Collective” for the exceptional services in the promotion of the Azerbaijan music culture on July 13, 1958. 
Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble operate in the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall. 

“Chinar” Dance Ensemble 
In 1959, in the Azerbaijan State Medical Institute named after Nariman Narimanov, currenty Azerbaijan State Medical University, the initiative of creating the dance ensemble was put ahead. The ensemble was established under the leadership of famous dancer Emine Dilbazi. 
After 3 months of the establishment, the ensemble attended the “10 days of the Azerbaijan Literature and Culture” that was held in Moscow. After returning from Moscow the “Chinar” ensemble was given the name of Folk Ensemble. Beginning from 1970s, the “Chinar” ensemble held successful tours to Germany, Slovenia, Poland, Algeria, Turkey, and Cyprus.
